Application
Carnauba wax acts as viscosity enhancer in W/O emulsions and anhydrous formulas. Used in stick preparations, it enhances lubricity, generates glossy surfaces, provides high oil binding capacity and improves temperature resistance. It improves texture and enhances volume in mascara formulations. Can be used as a dispersing aid for pigments and dyes in color cosmetics.
