This blend of natural waxes, oils and fatty alcohols has a similar water absorption as sheep’s lanolin of at least 200 %. It is suitable for anhydrous systems or emulsions and, due to its creamy and soft texture, can be used especially for lip balm formulations.
Application
In emulsions it can be used as emulsifier, stabilizer, emollient, and skin moisturizer. In hair care products it works as a conditioning agent helping against drying, scaling, and brittleness of the hair shaft. Can be used as a protective firming component in hair waxes. It acts as a fatting agent in soaps.
